Job summary

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Lieutenant to support the Sector Manager and supervise transportation teams, guards, and site operations.

The role includes coordinating training, scheduling, and day-to-day oversight to ensure high-quality security services for the client. The Lieutenant acts as a direct link to customer supervision and may handle on-demand duties during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by law.
• CDL with Passenger endorsement preferred for driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide indirect supervision of transportation teams, stationary and remote guarding; supervise shift personnel.
• Oversee shift schedules; interface with customer supervisors and program managers; evaluate performance.
• Conduct meetings with customer supervisors on operational and personnel issues.
• Oversee training programs and ensure compliance with contract regulations and laws.
• Perform transport missions and guard-level duties as needed for client requests.
• Plan and develop site shift and rotation schedules; assess operational needs.
