Job summary

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Lieutenant to assist the Sector Manager with daily operations, scheduling, and supervision of transportation teams and guards.

The role includes coordinating training, ensuring compliance, and responding to on-demand requests, including overnight and holiday shifts. The Lieutenant will liaise with customer supervisors, oversee shift schedules, review performance, and help develop site plans to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass state licensing/testing as applicable for driving company/client vehicles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Over 2 years driving experience and 3 years in security supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transportation teams, guards, and site operations.
• Coordinate shift schedules and liaise with customer supervisors.
• Oversee training programs and ensure policy adherence.
• Review operational programs for compliance with PWS and laws.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Respond to on-demand services during odd hours, weekends, or holidays.
• Plan site shift rotations and address operational vulnerabilities.
