QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Security Operations Manager II to oversee physical security for data centers, including guard operations, alarm investigations, and incident reporting. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and strong leadership of security staff.

You will coordinate with vendors, conduct risk assessments, and ensure security systems are functioning while supporting construction projects and new builds. This position requires on-site work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in operational physical security or equivalent.
• 5+ years patrolling and reporting experience.
• 3+ years dealing with vendors, contractors, and customers.
• 2+ years project management experience.
• Physically capable and able to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of physical security services for data centers.
• Supervise frontline security staff and daily operations.
• Manage security for single or multi-building campuses.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage security projects on time and within budget.
• Develop security procedures, monitor alarms, and document incidents.
