Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Utah seeks a Development Project Manager (Q-Systems: Security) to lead security design and construction across multiple data-center campuses. You will coordinate with installers, designers and operations to ensure schedules, budgets and quality goals are met.

You will review designs, monitor installations, oversee commissioning, and maintain strong liaison with stakeholders while developing phased site development plans and improving project management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 4-8 years of professional experience in technology systems - security, and/or network infrastructure design and/or implementation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts

Responsibilities

• Manage projects on multiple campuses and oversee design / implementation budgets, schedules, and status reports for each.
• Review project design to ensure compliance with QTS system standards and Basis of Design documents.
• Review system installation to ensure compliance with system design.
• Oversee commissioning efforts to confirm systems operate in compliance with QTS system standards, Basis of Design and design documents.
• Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans to achieve time, budget, and quality standards in a predictable fashion.
• Continuously update a campus master plan to provide predictable statistics in a dynamic environment.
