Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Security Operations Engineer II to lead day-to-day security systems operations. You will manage IP-based CCTV and access control, coordinate with staff and executives, and support multiple sites with on-call duties as needed.

The role requires several years of experience with Genetec, Prowatch, and Lenel, plus strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Travel between sites is likely, and the company offers comprehensive security and benefit programs.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience maintaining enterprise CCTV systems (Genetec or equivalent)
• Three years’ experience maintaining enterprise Access Control systems (Prowatch or Lenel)
• Three years’ experience designing CCTV/Access Control integration
• US Citizenship is required by law for this position

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with staff and executive management
• Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to multi-task
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specs
• Estimate work effort for technical deliverables
• Identify alternative solutions at component and architectural levels
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day support with multiple groups
• Collaborate with facilities, engineers, and contractors
• Participate in on-call duty including after-hours support
• Review and assist with construction and installation of remote systems
• Lead maintenance and modification of security applications and systems
• Develop enterprise security designs with Facilities and other teams
