Ochsner Health seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Sergeant and Officers on assigned shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and cross-shift guidance. You’ll prepare schedules and train officers, maintaining compliance and safety standards across the department.

The role requires 3 years in security or related fields, valid Louisiana license, and ability to obtain BLS/CPI and firearms certifications.

Qualificações

• 3 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience in security preferred.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license and clean DMV report.
• Must pass and maintain BLS, CPI, and firearms training.
• POST Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates the activity and day-to-day operations of security staff on assigned shift.
• Provides guidance and leadership to security staff regarding policies and procedures.
• Evaluates incidents and takes appropriate action including notifications to leadership.
• Completes security audits quarterly or as assigned.
• Ensures all security reports are complete within established time frames.
• Supports leadership in emergency response and drills.
• Oversees scheduling to avoid unauthorized overtime.
• Performs other related duties as required.
