Requirements include a high school diploma, 5 years of security/military experience with 1 year of supervision, a valid driver’s license, and certifications in BLS, CPI, and firearms. POST certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years security, law enforcement, or military experience; 1 year supervisory experience in security.
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV report.
• Must pass and maintain BLS, CPI, and firearms training.
• Certifications such as POST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the activity and day-to-day operations of Security Officers on the assigned shift.
• Supervises Security Sergeants and Officers on the assigned shift.
• Provides guidance on policies, procedures, and security services.
• Evaluates serious incidents and coordinates appropriate action and notifications.
• Completes security audits quarterly or as assigned.
• Ensures security reports are complete within established time frames.
• Supports leadership in emergency response and drills.
• Maintains required annual certifications and training.
