Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Security professional to protect patients, guests and employees across hospital campuses in Louisiana. The role includes enforcing safety rules, performing inspections, investigating incidents, and supporting emergency preparedness.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, 1 year in security or related fields, and holds or will obtain required certifications (BLS, CPI, IAHSS) within 90 days of hire. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 year of experience in Security, law enforcement, or military required.
BLS certification, valid driver’s license, CPI, and IAHSS certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

Enforces all safety and security rules and policies on company property.
Conducts routine inspections of on-site and off-site locations.
Investigates accidents and incidents and reports them promptly.
Performs opening/lockdown of buildings as approved by Administration and other safety duties.
Participates in emergency response and drills.
Maintains annual certifications and training within required time frames.
Interacts respectfully with diverse patient populations and communicates clearly.
