Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee the planning and execution of security system installations across Washington state. You will lead installation teams for Video Surveillance and Access Control, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent training from a two-year electronic trade school.
• 3–5 years' experience in installation of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and capability to troubleshoot installation challenges.

• Strategically plan, schedule, supervise, and manage all installation activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines.
• Verify and confirm procurement of all necessary equipment for installations to minimize delays.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, expense reports, and other documentation for management.
• Assess and evaluate system performance to reduce malfunctions and improve reliability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current industry standards and developments.
• Communicate changes in industry standards or procedures to associates and customers.
• Develop workforce size and structure to efficiently manage subscriber-related workloads.

What you will do

• A Johnson Controls Security Operations Manager will be tasked with overseeing the allocation and orchestration of personnel and materials essential for the swift and thorough installation of all business customer Security Systems, which include Video Surveillance and Access Control systems, across a designated territory. This role also encompasses the development and enhancement of existing capabilities to equip associates with the necessary skills for successful job performance and adherence to installation requirements.

• Strategically plan, schedule, supervise, and manage all installation activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines.
• Verify and confirm the procurement of all necessary equipment for installations to minimize delays.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, expense reports, and other pertinent documentation to keep management informed.
• Assess and evaluate system performance and effectiveness, aiming to reduce equipment malfunctions and enhance operational reliability.
• Maintain and update technical knowledge regarding current industry standards and emerging developments to remain competitive.
• Communicate effectively with associates and customers regarding any changes in industry standards or procedures that may impact operations.
• Develop the workforce size and structure necessary to efficiently manage subscriber-related workloads, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $112,100-$168,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
