Job summary

Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Senior Shift Supervisor / Lieutenant to lead security operations on assigned shifts. You will oversee a team of supervisors and officers, ensuring contract performance and service excellence.

This role acts as second-in-command for site operations and exercises independent judgment in dynamic environments. Reporting to the Site Supervisor/Captain, you will manage staffing, incidents, and performance, while ensuring adherence to

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Business Administration, or Public Administration.
• Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in security operations, law enforcement, military operations, or protective services.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Graduate of a federal, state, local law enforcement academy or equivalent training.
• Pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shift operations to meet contractual requirements and customer expectations.
• Serve as senior on-duty leader and assume Site Manager responsibilities in absence.
• Direct activities of Shift Supervisors, Sergeants, and Security Officers to maintain effectiveness.
• Resolve operational, staffing, and employee relations issues.
• Monitor shift performance and implement corrective actions to improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with post orders, SOPs, and security requirements.
• Oversee staffing and deployment to maintain uninterrupted coverage.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
