Chenega Corporation seeks an experienced Surveillance Supervisor / Sergeant to lead Security Officers on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with post orders and client requirements. You will oversee daily activities, provide coaching, and maintain high standards of professionalism and accountability.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; relevant security background preferred.
• Proven supervisory or team-lead experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; interpret policies and post orders.
• Ability to obtain required licenses and pass background and drug screening.
• Experience in managing post orders and customer requirements in 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee security operations during shifts to meet requirements.
• Direct daily activities and work assignments of Security Officers.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to personnel on shift.
• Ensure officers follow post orders and customer requirements.
• Address operational challenges and escalate issues to leadership.
• Coordinate staffing and post coverage for uninterrupted operations.
• Assist with shift scheduling and coverage for absences.
• Support onboarding, training, mentoring, and development of officers.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Conduct site patrols, post inspections, and operational reviews.
• Monitor access control and security procedures.
• Support perimeter and facility security, visitor management, and traffic control.
• Ensure equipment, uniforms, and readiness standards are maintained.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; document appropriately.
• Review officer reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Notify management of critical incidents and concerns promptly.
• Assist with fact-finding after incidents; maintain records.
