Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Northern Kentucky seeks a Director of Security Operations to lead daily security functions, oversee staffing, training, and incident response, and align policy execution with regulations. The role emphasizes threat analysis, event security, and cross-functional collaboration to protect guests and employees.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in security leadership, preferably in a resort/gaming environment, and may be bilingual.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years in security management or closely related field required.
• Previous leadership experience in a resort and gaming setting.
• Bilingual is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day security operations including staffing, training, event management, incident response, and administration.
• Evaluate security operations training and update procedures to close gaps.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws, communicating changes to property and security operations.
• Patrol the property and manage security programs such as Lost and Found.
• Assist COS with threat identification, intelligence gathering, and incident impact analysis.
• Build and develop teams through recruiting, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop short- and long-term security solutions.
