Churchill Downs Incorporated in Owensboro is seeking a Security Shift Manager to lead a security team, safeguard guests and staff, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance on a busy gaming floor.

Reporting to the Director of Security, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, enforce SOPs, handle incidents, and coordinate with KHRC and other authorities. The role requires 5+ years in security leadership, an associate degree or higher, and strong communication and budget skills.

Formación

• 5+ years of leadership in security operations or related field.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• First Aid, CPR, and Security Awareness certifications are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead security team, train, mentor, and maintain high morale.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and vibrant guest experience on the floor.
• Execute daily security operations and enforce SOPs and directives.
• Lead investigations, gather evidence, and produce clear reports.
• Represent the property at hearings and assist with safety oversight.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and controlling department expenses.
• Ensure compliance with KHRC rules and internal controls.
