Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Oversee the building operations involving visitor access and activities.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Act as the point of contact for ongoing communication with Building Services staff about site operations. Collaborate with department managers to determine security needs.
• Investigate, report, and maintain records of security-related incidents on the property. Coordinate responses to emergencies and alarms.
• Prepare surveillance equipment maintenance schedules and facility repairs in a timely manner.
• Protect the organization and clients from damage and loss. This includes providing training such as life safety systems, CPR, and first aid.
• Consult with human resources on issues related to security personnel.
• Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses. Gather security intelligence and implement preventative measures. Keep abreast of innovative technologies and advancements in security services.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
• Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
