OVERVIEW:
The Security Operations Intern will assist the Director of Security Operations with day-to-day security operations and project-based work that supports the safety and security of The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. This intern will contribute to operational improvements, documentation updates, and event and school group procedures while gaining exposure to security operations in a large, public-facing organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Update Policies and Procedures within the Security Department
Fire Extinguisher audit and relocation
Assist with reviewing and updating Security Standard Operating Procedures.
Support the Safety Warden Program.
Assist with school group arrival and departure procedures.
Support security operations related to Museum events as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
Basic computer and software skills.
Previous security-related experience not required.
