Job summary

J.B. Hunt is seeking a Security Operations Coordinator to document intake of security-related calls and route/escalate issues as needed. The role protects assets from theft, assault, and safety incidents on campus and at remote locations.

Responsibilities include writing initial reports, operating access control, monitoring video and alarms, and coordinating with emergency services. The position supports safety and well-being across JB Hunt sites with routine night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1 year of security-related experience and/or training and/or equivalent military experience.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Experience in security operations or related field is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming security-related calls and emails and route or escalate as needed.
• Write initial incident reports with details from available sources.
• Operate access control for campus and remote sites and issue credentials when required.
• Monitor video and respond to alarm notifications across locations.
• Coordinate with emergency services and law enforcement as needed.
• Assist with safety initiatives and conduct routine wellness checks for staff.
