Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. seeks a Campus Security Officer I to safeguard personnel and visitors at the Northwest Arkansas campus. Under routine supervision, you will monitor safety protocols, respond to incidents, and maintain logs and reports to support a secure working environment.

You will coordinate with local law enforcement when needed, enforce access controls, and deliver professional, courteous service while protecting company assets across the campus community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 6 months of related experience.
• Demonstrates ability to respond to emergencies and enforce safety procedures.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to security systems, technologies, operating standards, and procedures; enforce policies.
• Provide tactical responses to emergencies and administer medical attention as needed.
• Guide security measures and assist employees and visitors during incidents.
• Perform building patrols and report hazards or unauthorized access.
• Grant access to employees and log temporary credentials.
• Identify and file reports on accidents or suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Serve as first contact for law enforcement and court officials; notify management promptly.
• Communicate JBH procedures politely to all stakeholders; comply with campus responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
