Job summary

DK Security in Michigan is seeking an Operations Manager to lead contract and temporary security programs across the region. You will supervise site teams, manage client relationships and ensure field operations run smoothly, including training, scheduling and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to travel for site visits. CPL is required; bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Business Administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or Business Administration preferred; security management concentration preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ prior experience as a security manager or above in government or corporate service is highly desirable.
• Must have (or be willing and able to quickly obtain) a Concealed Pistols License (CPL).
• Must have impeccable grooming and above-average customer service skills.
• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contract Management and oversight of client relationships across the region.
• Oversee Site Supervisors and Security Officers in the field and ensure site visits meet required standards.
• Ensure timely outfitting of employees and maintenance of positive relationships with staff and clients.
• Execute performance-based evaluations and progressive disciplinary actions as needed.
• Support Human Resources in recruiting and deploying qualified security personnel.
• Manage overtime, payroll, and temporary accounts within designated region.
• Coordinate internal and external communications and participate in scheduled staff meetings.
