Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Operations Center Operator - Overnights in Madison, WI. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries, coordinate communications, monitor alarms and access activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents.

This full-time overnight role pays $25.00 per hour. You will maintain dispatch logs, complete incident reports, conduct patrols, and work with a team focused on

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarm notifications, access activity, and route incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate responses to incidents and communicate with onsite personnel, management, and responders.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident reports per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols around the business and perimeter; vary by client site.

As a Security Operations Center Operator - Overnights in Madison, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Operations Center Officer at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarms and access activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will maintain accurate records, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and help promote a secure environment through attentive dispatch operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarm notifications, access control activity, and other security-related systems; document and route calls, requests, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to onsite personnel, management, and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and activity records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
