St. Moritz Security Services is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the Cheswick, PA location. The role requires monitoring access points, performing patrols, and ensuring safety and security of the facility and personnel.

Compensation is $18.00 per hour with first and second shift options, including weekends. Candidates should have security experience, be able to pass background checks (state PATCH, FBI, criminal) and drug screening, and be computer literate.

Responsibilities

Schedule:

• 6:30am to 2:30pm | 40 hours per week
• 2:30pm-10:30pm | 32 hours per week

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Seeking a dedicated, responsible, and proactive Unarmed Security Officer to join our security team at a high-profile facility in Cheswick, PA. As an unarmed security officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the facility, its personnel, and visitors. You’ll ensure the protection of property, monitor access points, and conduct security patrols in a busy, complex environment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Access Control: Monitor entry/exit points to ensure only authorized individuals are on the premises. Verify and manage access credentials.
• Patrols: Conduct routine foot patrols around the facility to detect potential security issues or safety hazards.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Operate CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
• Incident Response: Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies swiftly. Take appropriate action while ensuring the safety of staff and visitors.
• Visitor and Staff Assistance: Provide guidance to visitors and staff, ensuring compliance with security procedures and offering excellent customer service.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate logs of security activities, incidents, access control, and any unusual occurrences.
• Emergency Preparedness: Assist with evacuations and collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel during incidents.
• Compliance Enforcement: Ensure adherence to company and site safety protocols, policies, and regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other security officers, staff, and contractors to foster a secure and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Prior security experience preferred.
• Ability to pass PATCH state background check .
• Must successfully pass criminal background check , FBI clearances , and drug screening .
• Computer literate and able to operate basic office equipment and security systems.
