Allied Universal is seeking a Security Operations Center Officer at our Tech Headquarters Patrol in New York, NY. You will monitor access, patrol premises, and respond to incidents while delivering outstanding client service at a financial services location.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and assist with access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, common spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
