• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, office spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and/or shift reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Reporting in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.95 - $21.95 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have a state, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
