Job summary

Securitas Security Services is seeking a SOC Operator in Cambridge, MA to monitor alarms, coordinate dispatch, and document incidents in real time from a centralized control room. You will oversee CCTV monitoring, intrusion alarms, and communications with clients and responders to ensure rapid, accurate responses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Customer service experience.
• Computer skills.
• Reliable communication.
• Ability to multitask under stress.
• Valid driver license.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening (background check and drug test).

Responsibilities

• Monitor intrusion detection and other security technologies to identify and respond to threats.
• Manage security radio traffic and maintain real-time situational awareness.
• Coordinate and dispatch appropriate emergency services or on-site personnel.
• Log incidents accurately and prepare professional reports.
• Monitor CCTV systems and support investigations.
• Perform basic remote alarm panel programming and system troubleshooting.
• Provide clear, professional communication to clients, employees, and responders.
• Review events and help identify trends or areas for improvement.
