Job summary

Vector Synergy is seeking a Lead Security Analyst to provide professional leadership for the analyst team on the contractor's side. The role serves as the main contact for the customer during complex incidents, coordinates Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts, and ensures timely, high-quality incident handling.

You will contribute to developing detection rules and incident response playbooks, mentor junior staff, and ensure processes align with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of verifiable experience as Lead Security Analyst.
• Splunk Core Certified Advanced Power User or equivalent.
• Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert SC-100 or equivalent.
• German language proficiency at CEFR level C1.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and investigation activities.
• Serve as escalation point for critical incidents.
• Ensure the quality of analyses.
• Coordinate processes and playbooks/runbooks with the customer.
• Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts.
