Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer at our Distribution Center in Van Buren Township, MI. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

You will handle site-specific procedures, respond to alarms, and complete incident reports. The position is full-time with a daytime to evening shift rotation, offering benefits and opportunities to grow within a nationwide security organization.

Qualifications

• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21 (armed) years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening per laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, controlled manner.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, and perimeters.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and report suspicious activity.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports per site policies.
