Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed University Security Officer in University City, Philadelphia. You will patrol campus, deter incidents, assist with access control, and deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

The role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to join a collaborative security team that values integrity and teamwork. Pay is $17.25 per hour with site-specific responsibilities and ongoing training.

Formación

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, building access procedures, and reporting of suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate campus resources and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
