Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Security Awareness officer in Elkins Park, PA. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors on campus.

• Monitor access points and report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, or suspicious activity.

You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence halls, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas; report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
