Allied Universal in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Enhanced Part Time University Security Officer to support a major campus. The role offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will deliver customer service to students and staff, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain accurate logs, all while complying with site procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or designated campus representatives.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic educational environment.

As an Enhanced Part Time University Security Officer in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. The role will primarily involve serving and safeguarding clients on a leading university's campus.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur05:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
