Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Las Vegas, NV. You will monitor and protect client facilities, deter incidents, and provide strong customer service in a tech/media/telecom environment.

This role offers a flexible schedule with shift-based work and opportunities to engage in additional security roles through our platform. The position emphasizes responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (unarmed roles) or 21+ (armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
