As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols by bicycle, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Use computer or tablet tools to document activity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established procedures, while providing directions and assistance to visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and responding agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
