Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Premises Patrol in South Las Vegas, NV, to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will perform interior and exterior patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet; customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred; alarm panel experience preferred.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized access and support a professional environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and proper escalation.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs; communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer - Premises Patrol in South Las Vegas, near South St Rose Parkway, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a professional environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
