Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.34 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts from 06:45 AM to 06:15 PM on Mon/Tue/Wed with alternating

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally following post orders and procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report suspicious activity and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as directed, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
