Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Rock Tavern, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Officer in a leading tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment, while your communication skills support positive interactions with staff and visitors. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always acting with integrity and putting people first. This unarmed position focuses on visibility and customer service to help create a positive experience for everyone at the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.62 / Hour

Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing for unusual behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
