Job Title: Information System Security Officer

Position: Full-time with Red Cedar Consultancy (RCC) / USCIS

Location: Remote

Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and have or be able to attain a Government Agency Suitability Clearance.

Overview

1. Support the DevSecOps team in implementing Cyber Security requirements to achieve and maintain an ATO (Authority to Operate).
2. Interpret OS and system scans to facilitate remediations with the DevSecOps team.
3. Ensure systems are scanned, patched, and compliant with DHS and USCIS policies.
4. Troubleshoot Windows and RHEL security policies.
5. Support configurations including Splunk log forwarding, registering systems, reporting, and managing findings.
6. Assess systems to determine applicable IA controls based on design, architecture, and data.
7. Maintain Ongoing Authorization tools, including various logs and trackers.
8. Attend risk management and system meetings to provide updates and take action items.
9. Perform other duties as required.
