Pay Rate: $30.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 08:15 AM - 03:45 PM
• Sat: 08:15 AM - 03:45 PM
• Sun: 08:15 AM - 03:45 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited items and report concerns according to site protocols.
• Verify access credentials, direct visitors to appropriate areas, and maintain accurate logs and documentation as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
