Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and permitted items entering the facility according to procedures; escalate concerns through designated channels.
• Maintain a professional presence at entry points while deterring unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols; notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity logs, visitor records, and incident reports accurately and timely.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and permitted items entering the facility in accordance with established procedures, escalating concerns through designated channels.
• Maintain a professional, courteous presence at assigned entry points while helping to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, visitor records, and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
