Allied Universal in Cross Junction, VA is seeking a Security Officer Visitor Access Driver to safeguard residents and visitors while managing entry points and communication. This role requires a valid driver's license and a willingness to perform access-control procedures, respond to incidents, and maintain records.

The position is full-time with a $18.72/hour pay rate and an evening schedule moving residents' safety forward.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors through access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorization, and maintain visitor/vehicle records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, entry points, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally and report security observations and maintenance concerns.

As a Security Officer Visitor Access Driver in Cross Junction, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, assist residents and visitors, and provide professional communication. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, document activity, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents, guests, vendors, and/or deliveries, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records as required.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and onsite personnel while reporting security-related observations and maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
