Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entrance Operations Driver in Cross Junction, VA. You will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Entrance Operations Driver in Cross Junction, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and accurate reporting. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $18.72 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents and visitors while reporting security-related observations, access issues, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
