Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Vehicle Patrol in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time, unarmed role focuses on patrolling designated areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document observations while communicating professionally with stakeholders and emergency responders. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Communicate professionally with property representatives, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders regarding security-related matters.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
