Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mount Morris, MI to protect clients across tech/media/telecom locations. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service, with a valid driver’s license required for driving duties.

The role is full-time with a schedule including daytime and weekend shifts. CPR/First Aid are preferred, and you will operate in a supportive, safety-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and incidents.
• Maintain a professional presence and support a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mount Morris, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations, incidents, and/or irregularities in required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors in a dynamic business location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
