As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and personnel with professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with established procedures; assist with directing visitors and maintaining orderly entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while communicating relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
