Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will require a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in NEEDHAM, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential hospitality location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms and facility needs. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting residents, guests, and staff. What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain a professional presence, and help support a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications for Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
