Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Coordination in Norwood, MA. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and possible licensing per local laws. A driver’s license is beneficial for driving positions; shifts are scheduled Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:00

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and entry points to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report access concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation for leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report access concerns or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
