Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time University Watch in Plum, PA. The role provides reliable hours at an assigned campus with the option to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings.

Pay rate is $18.25 per hour with a fixed shift and an option to earn more through the shift-picking program. This position emphasizes customer service, safety procedures, and campus security operations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and personal belongings at designated entry points in accordance with campus procedures, reporting prohibited items, access concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access for students, employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering assigned locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating observations to campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate screening, visitor, and incident documentation, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, surrounding areas, and perimeter as directed.

As a Security Officer Part Time University Watch in Plum, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
