• Communicate professionally with site personnel, responders, and leadership regarding observed conditions and violations.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Visitor Access Control in Lockbourne, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
