Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Entry Level Security Officer in Maumee, OH to monitor facilities, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

You will perform patrols, observe access control, and respond to alarms following site procedures. This full-time role starts with a daytime schedule and offers growth opportunities within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorization, and document relevant activity.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and observations in line with company guidelines.

As a Security Officer - Entry Level Position in Maumee, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized personnel and visitors according to site procedures, and documenting relevant activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
