Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate information to supervision and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
