Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Access Patrol in Lockbourne, OH. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings, while providing reliable hours at an assigned site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-adjacent areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, escalating security‑related concerns through appropriate channels.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Access Patrol in Lockbourne, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
