Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Driving Unarmed Security Officer for a technology campus in Austin, TX. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access, assist with badge and visitor processes, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

You will deliver excellent customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, background check may be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout a technology campus, including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
