Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Vehicle Readiness in Santa Clara, CA. This full-time role involves driving to patrol, safeguarding sites, and providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

The position includes playing a vital part in maintaining a secure environment, monitoring access, and responding to incidents while upholding Allied Universal standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Position and Compensation

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $29.30 / Hour

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
